Hi Bob, I, too, expect a "traders rally" from the current Idiot Wave reading. Whether it ends up being a solid turning point for the markets is still a question. At this point a rally would be comforting, but we've seen many bear traps before.

For those of us who have been using AIM for a very long time this bear isn't that bad so far. As you mentioned, those who bought the bubble with or without AIM are currently not feeling all that great.

It was with some surprise that the indexes fell as far as they did without my Idiot Wave giving a Low Risk signal. It took the 9/11 tragedy to trigger one finally. Even then the market bounced back taking the IW up into High Risk range again. Very briefly last Fall we went to 100% UOPIX with the IW Low Risk signal. The strong rally took money out of it again before a full month had passed. We sold more as the rally continued through around the first of the year but then sold out as the IW crossed into High Risk range.

The trip was worth about a 33% gain for our account. Since January the money's been parked at 12%/year dividend in ACG. It was just last week that we sold half of the ACG and put the money back into UOPIX. We'll see how that goes. Again this move was triggered by the IW.

I have yet to try the Bear side of the Profunds products.

Best regards, Tom
