I think that you would have to get overall sector figures to see if the sector is stable. I would contend that the growth that you are seeing is increase in market share. This is a good thing, but not indicative of a real growth environment. A lot of what will determine whether the valuation is justified is how long the bear market continues and more importantly how it ends. If we are at the end of the bear and we are going to have a v-bottom, the valuation may be justified. If we have another 40-50% to go in the bear and it ends in a flatline with no growth for 5-10 years, well, I don't think that the valuation is justified.

I am convinced that CSCO is going to survive. But if I can buy the stock at $6, I certainly don't want to buy it at $12.
