DJX and XAU in opposition You did not ask me but DJX and XAU are not hedges. They have nothing to do with each other. A hedge might be short the naz and buy the spoos or short S and buy WMT, short BZH (one of the weakest home builders) and buy LEN. Etc. The Dow and gold, if anything might act in union not as contrary. Best guess is little to no correlation. M
