I don't mind losing an argument, but I'd like to do it on the facts and not on the strength of someone's opinion alone. By the way, you can also get rid of me by just admitting that you aren't interested in truth, but rather, just in support of the liberal dogma.

The 1981 Lichter-Rothman study surveyed political attitudes and voting patterns of 240 journalists working for such major media as The New York Times, the Washington Post, US News and World Report, the Wall Street Journal and all the networks. Key findings included:
* 90 percent favored abortion.
* 80 percent supported affirmative action.
* 81 percent voted Democratic in every election from 1964-72.
* Most blamed the U.S. for Third World poverty.
An excerpt from that study says journalists emerge "as strong supporters of environmental protection, affirmative action, women's rights, homosexual rights, and sexual freedom in general.

Well, that scientific study is over 20 years old; however, it may prove my point. Apparently, what was considered liberal over 20 years ago is now mainstream. So those same journalists would no longer be considered liberal but rather mainstream. |
