To restate something I posted earlier, John, Our enemy is coming our of Islam. Now that communism is dead, The major attack on us will come from within Islamic societies.
Yeah, I saw that and decided, in the interests of a sometimes virtual friendship, to pass it up.
But since you ask, it completely depends on what you mean. If you mean simply that, so far as we now know, the global terrorist groups most likely to attack the US, are Islamic offshoots, that seems almost a truism. If, however, you mean that Islam is our enemy, much as Nadine said Islamists are our enemy, then that's a seriously troubling formulation. I don't think you meant the latter. |
