New Customer Wins and Deployments Demonstrate Continued PeopleSoft SCM Momentum

PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 6, 2002--PeopleSoft Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT - News) today announced that PS 8 Supply Chain Management (SCM) momentum continues as organizations around the world adopt its award-winning solutions. During the second quarter of 2002, more than 110 organizations licensed PeopleSoft SCM, and more than 65 customers deployed these solutions.

Widespread Adoption Across Targeted Industries

Companies that licensed PeopleSoft SCM in the second quarter of 2002 span a broad range of industries including financial services, healthcare, education, government, utilities, consumer products, high tech, life sciences and industrial products. Select customer wins include: Broadcom; Fannie Mae; Longaberger Basket Company; Cedar Enterprise Solutions; Robert Half International; Educational Testing Services; Combined Specialty Insurance Company; Methanex Corp.; Ideal Industries; Alberto Culver and IDX Systems Corp.

PeopleSoft SCM continues to gain strong momentum in the education and government sector as educational institutions and government agencies select PeopleSoft Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), a key component of PeopleSoft SCM.
