During the exhibition season mine eyes will be on Barber,Bishop, Kirkland,Gardner, Westbrook(a divison II steal??, and from Villanove, no less:) and the question, can Eagles, with a truckload of hard hitting DBs develop a defense along lines of patriots.
I am conjecturing that Reids loading the secondary was perhaps keyed by his being very impressed with New England's DB stacked defense.
My primary regrets since last season, Damon Moore and Buckhalter.
Two regrets regards Damon Moore, one, he was coming on strong, and his great chase down tackle on the Giants return man on the trick play, prevented a catastrophe, a lifetime image to keep,so sad to see him get the ACL. But also that because his contract was up he got axed.
Do you know if Damon got picked by any team betting on his being able to rehab.
And with Buckhalter, he was showing real, almost Tony Dorsett type of through the inside hole BURSTs that made Tony Dorsett a Hall of Fame back.
Dorsett could see a sliver of an opening and just accelerate like lightening through it. That was Dorsett in a nutshell, to me, anyway.
Buckhalter, ACL, 50/50 he will ever comeback with what he had.
Question, why do ACLs too often occur for no apparent reason?? GodfreyDaniels! or ==x:) P.S. Prediction, Trotter will NOT make the all NFC-pro team next year.
