Moore was signed by the Bears but couldn't rehab well enough to make it to camp. So, he never reported; he's considering retirement. Actually, I hope he continues rehabing and maybe sign with the Eagles in 2003.

Was talking to Concrete Charlie up at camp last week; can't tell who he dislikes more .... Gifford, LT or Lurie !! Quite the character ....

Duce reported 10 lbs. lighter so should be quicker this year, Levens looked good too ... I thought he was washed up when they signed him but doesn't look it. Westbrook will be a surprise .... he's another Duce, great hands .. could actually play wideout if they wanted him to.

Only questions are all the guys coming off injuries ... Barber, Bishop, Duce ... and the hole losing Thomas leaves up the middle.

Won't be any Sam Adams in Philly; Johnson coached him in Seattle and thinks he's a woofer as in dalmation !!!

JB

PS .... wonder what Keith Van Horn's thinking after saying he'd never play in Philly on draft day a few years ago ... <g>
