... One day I got stuck at some airport - dont know anymore which, somewhere in US - and started reading a paperback, somebody left next to me. The story : 1980s in the Middle east - with Reza, AramCo etc -. Ten pages into the end somebody (dont know anymore who, but we'll get the usual suspects) nukes the SA oil fields ("bye bye, Saudi oil, was nice while it lasted") and the hero of the plot (the last two pages) gets away with a chopper, his sweetheart and the equivalent of 20M$ in physical gold (Note: it was quite a chopper). dj
