an extra $300 in your pocket If the administration had been paying attention to the economy instead of promoting a tax cut that was supposed to cure all ills, the telecom sector would have probably not collapsed. Imagine if you will, a program to bring the last mile of broadband to libraries and schools. Good for the kids, yes, but also it would have helped the industry to "cross the chasm" where the technology becomes affordable and proven. It's not that we as a nation are missing any one program, it's that the current administration has only focused on how to let friends and cronies cash in on past gains without paying for the opportunities received. The collapse of a growth economy has removed the necessary investments which were required to make a farm viable. TP
