Pure Gold Minerals Inc.: Second Kimberlitic Intrusive Discovered-Tichegami Property Otish Mountains Quebec VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Don Sheldon, President of Pure Gold Minerals Inc. ("Pure Gold") is pleased to announce the discovery of a second kimberlitic intrusive breccia on the Tichegami River Property, Otish Mountains Quebec. The discovery drill hole was located on a well-defined airborne and ground magnetic anomaly (H-2) approximately 350 meters southeast of the H-1 kimberlitic pipe discovered during the 2002 winter drilling program. The discovery hole was drilled at an azimuth of 045 degrees and a dip of -70 degrees. The kimberlitic intrusive was intersected under overburden at a depth of 15 meters and the hole was drilled to a total depth of 138 meters, all in the kimberlitic intrusive. A second hole was drilled in the opposite direction at an azimuth of 210 degrees and a dip of 45 degrees. This hole entered the country rock at a depth of 18 meters and confirmed the edge of the intrusive. The magnetic surveys indicates that the kimberlitic intrusive is a dyke like body and that the discovery hole was located at the north end. At this location the intrusive is at least 65 meters wide and remains open. Three distinct phases of kimberlite, possibly of different ages have been identified in the field. Both the matrix and fragments of this kimberlitic intrusive breccia are visually very distinct from the H-1 kimberlite intrusive. Also of importance to the potential of this new discovery is the identification of purple pyrope, chrome diopside and ilmenite in the core. The core from the discovery hole will be logged and sampled in the field. Selected samples will then be sent for evaluation initially for diamonds and kimberlite indicator minerals. Pure Gold is currently continuing the planned summer work program on the Beaver Lake Project, which in addition to the diamond drilling includes the evaluation of geophysical anomalies identified by company consultants from the airborne surveys. Pure Gold has an option to earn a 60% interest in the Tichegami property from Ditem Explorations Inc. (TSX.DIT) of Montreal. Gordon Keevil, Professional Geologist and Director of Pure Gold, is responsible for the design and conduct of the exploration programs, and the verification and quality assurance of analytical results.
