Hitler knew that if he invaded Poland, France and Great Britain would attack because they were allies of Poland.
So I guess you are saying that Hitler would have been perfectly satisfied with Poland, and WWII was really the fault of the French and the British because they declared war on Hitler, not vice versa.
As for the Bolshevism business, it sounds so innocent and righteous when you say that Hitler was opposed to Bolshevism. After all, we in the West were opposed to Bolshevism, too. Unfortunately, the facts don't stand up to scrutiny.
Have you ever read Mein Kampf? I have -- not all of it but most of it. Nauseating. In Hitler's mind, Bolshevism is synonymous with Jews. Hitler believed that it was the inherent nature of the Jew to try to destroy all that was admirable in Western culture, that Jews were like cuckoos, who take over the nest of better birds, throw out their eggs, and lay their own eggs in the nest, so that the better birds will raise the cuckoo's eggs, and so destroy their own ability to carry on their genes.
Hitler further believed that if a non-Jewish woman had sex with a Jewish man, even just once, for ever after her children would be contaminated with Jewish blood.
He believed in a heirarchy of races of man, at the pinnacle of which was the Aryan, as you know, and down towards the bottom were Jews, Slavs, as well as blacks, American Indians, and Asians (except for the Japanese for some reason.)
He believed it was Germany's destiny to conquer Eastern Europe, and enslave the Slavic peoples.
He also wanted to destroy the Jews. Bolshevism was a Jewish plot to destroy Western culture, in cahoots with Jewish bankers.
In other words, if you know this man, you couldn't possibly say with a straight face that all he wanted to do was stop the Bolsheviks. |
