I agree with what you are saying, but my opinions are completely biased by my belief in Biblical prophecy. Logic tells me you are correct. Logic also tells me it would be a good thing to get rid of all forms of money and have every human have a mark or insert that could be used for all forms of economical, medical, and informational purposes. No matter what is "right" or "wrong", the Biblical prophecies will come true. I'm not certain where the US will ultimately be in all of this, but it is looking like they will be aligned with Israel. From a human perspective, this may appear to be "wrong", but the Bible is very clear on what happens to those nations that oppose Israel during the last days.
Many cannot get over this "human" application of Biblical truth. Because it "does not make sense" to us, we reject it flatly. For me, it comes down to this -- Is the Bible God's word? In my study, there are enough proofs for me to accept it as such. Therefore, I cannot question the "logic" of it all. It is pretty clear one has to accept it or reject it. IF it ends up being true, then it is ALL true -- including the parts about a Heaven and a Hell after this life and the parts about God being incapable of lying and the parts about standing by Israel no matter what. Does it make perfect sense? No. SO, I have made the decision to believe that God has a plan and purpose which I cannot fully comprehend. Others cannot get past this point. If they are right, they will have more fun during their time on this earth and perhaps be perceived as being more politically correct and even more fair. If I am right, I will have an eternal life after this one. We shall see how this all plays out.
