demand => price for oil.

could be wrong about supply. Won't drop there if we go to war with Iraq, but if we don't it will, IMO. Two weeks was a bit of hyperbole -- certainly I would expect that in at least 2 - 3 months if there is not a war.

Oil service sector will reflect the slowdown in consumption before it happens. Sure, we'll all still be driving our Navigators (you have one, too, don't you <vbg>), but it is use at the margin that determines price ...
