Before you promote him to sainthood, remember that this is the guru who popularized the philosophy of ltb&h.

Uncle Frank:

You are barking up the wrong tree if you are trying to find fault with Buffet's long term buy and hold philosophy by comparing it to LTB&H advocated by the Gorilla Game. Time after tim, you have refused to acknowledge that the methodology of long term buy and holding espoused by Warren Buffet was, and is, far different than the LTB&H recommended by the Gorilla Game. Warren Buffet recommends buying stocks at a discount to their intrinsic values with a margin of safety, whereas the authors of the Gorilla Game recommended jumping into LTB&H positions at any old price. That is a critical, night and day difference in their respective LTB&H philosophies.
