Sorry to hear of the "hurts". Been there too many times myself and know the feeling. Sometimes exiting a bloody battlefield (to clean up the cuts and bind up the wounds) allows one to live to fight another day.

As I have noted previously, there will come a time when being without short side exposure will ensure missing the ultimate waterfall, but for now, ducking the big bear market rallies sure keeps us all on our toes.
