"I support vouchers because the public school system appears beyond hope" And I repudiate vouchers because society is not beyond hope. There is divisiveness inherent in a system of indoctrination which intends to perpetuate a particular religious dogma as an open agenda. The educational system is the primary vehicle for shaping the culture and dogmas of society and ultimately of the State. If education is given over to partisan religious interests then the stage is set for endless acrimony and bitter contempt. In the end, everything that America stands for will be destroyed.
