Hi Alfred -- since most stocks that do a reverse split usually keep heading lower, I'm guessing that a a general rule, people or funds that own a stock planning on doing a reverse split dump it. If you want to see a typical reverse split stock -- take a look at KANA:

quote.yahoo.com

They did a 1 for 10 last fall. If you bought 10 shares KANA at the height of the bubble -- you paid $1500. Those 10 shares are worth $2 today.

In the case of TALK -- with a PE now of about 5, I'm kind of surprised too.

Can you check to see if along with the reverse split -- does TALK plan to take advantage of the reduced number of shares to issue more shares (like do a secondary offering ?) That the only reason I can think of, other than the reverse split itself, why the stock would get dumped.

I plan to buy more this morning.

Regards,
Chris
