OT...mindmeld, re mutual funds & taxation ... Those that aren't wealthy enough to have a truly diversified portfolio of individual stocks have to resort to mutual funds to get diversified. That means again they are getting double taxed. My understanding is that mutual funds ARE NOT TAXED because they distribute substantially all of their income and capital gains to shareholders. So where do you get the "double taxed" from? Ron
