If 100% of GDP were the output of public companies, then a stock market valuation of 100% of GDP would reflect a PSR of 1, a very conservative valuation.

My point is that, anecdotally, it seems that the % of GDP provided by publicly trading companies is increasing. Mom-and-pop stores have been replaced and "family farms" have be replaced.
