BTW, the modern Democratic party can hardly be viewed as a Marxist/Lennist party. Have you every taken a look at a real American Marxist party and what their stands are on the issues of the day? Their views are far to the left of the current Democratic party. Even the Green party is far to the left of the modern Democratic party. If anything, the Democratic party has slowly but surely drifted to the the center/right during my lifetime and become much more of a corporate dominated party. They have abandoned many of their traditional left-wing stances and policies. I'm not sure why you think they are such a left-wing party? The fact that the Dems have drifted to the center has opened up an opportunity for a real left-wing party like the Green party to gain members and influence.
