Mike - My head agrees with you about why the USD should crater, but I still wonder about the mechanics of how that actually takes place.

To exit the USD requires entry into something else, yet the rallies in gold and the Euro have stalled out. I think that occurred with a recognition that being in the fire might be worse than the frying pan.

A bit of a conumdrum, to say the least. Analogous to wanting off the planet but not having the means to achieve it
