The simple fact is that all government sponsored social programs are illegal and unconstitutional, and are anti-freedom/anti-capitalistic.
The United States government was never originally intended to be involved in all the areas it now takes on in the name of "the common good" at the expense of the real good and real rights of the individual (who, BTW, it was originally designed to protect!).
All social programs should be eliminated.
The federal government should return most power to the States, reduce the amount of money borrowed, effectively service the debt, concentrate on protecting INDIVIDUAL rights and the defense of the USA from foreign enemies, eliminate the IRS, the ATF, the FBI and a slew of governmental agencies that inhibit the creation of wealth and shackle the freedom of individuals.
While we're at it, tort laws should be rewritten, 90%+ of the laws currently on the books should be repealed; prostitution, all forms of gambling and all recreational drugs should be legalized, taxes lifted or greatly reduced on alcohol and cigarettes, and the feds get out of science, the universities, and healthcare.
And that's just for starters.
