I still own my original position. I talked to I.R. about a week ago. The decision on the S.84 was supposed to be handed down by the government by June 30th. They had not heard anything yet. (I'm assuming they meant June 30th, 1997, of course!!) The crew was off the property for spring breakup etc. and in the office to analyze information gathered to date. They are expected to be back in the field by the end of the month. John Kaiser of the Bottom Fishing Report said recently that its way to early to give up on Gerle. I think he is right but we still do have the S.84 problem. I am seeing pockets of activity out there in the junior resource sector. Regardless of what you are hearing about people 'never investing in VSE stocks again.." - they are all fibbing...they'll be back... One of the members of my family gave up yesterday and dumped some of her juniors.....couldn't stand it anymore.....can't get a better buy signal than that as far as I am concerned!! Cheers, barb
