DJ, you talk like you've never seen a recession before. I can tell you for a fact that the soul-searching and doom-saying was far worse in the '91 recession. All of 11 years ago that was and the bookstores were full of books predicting that we'd all be working for Japanese companies by 2002 - hah! Of course, SI didn't exist then. Nor did Windows, fwiw, we were all using DOS, screwing with our CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files and typing CD C:\BULLSHIT and suchlike.

So don't tell me the sky is fallin', cause it ain't.
