I don't know what you're talking about -- you seem to be rambling.

The point is, Bush can't do anything to please you. First he's too cozy, then he's pandering. Perhaps, just perhaps, he did what he thought was right.

It is a difficult concept for liberals, but Bush is not about polls. I firmly believe he totally ignores them. He does what he thinks is right. This, by the way, is precisely the same thing Teddy Roosevelt did -- it sometimes alienated his political base, but he didn't give one big damn about polls. TRUE LEADERSHIP.
