RE: "One of INTC's greatest strengths has been..." HAS BEEN are the key words. INTC will keep themselves from becoming a "has been" company by playing their current hand and forgetting the past. INTC has only one competitor in PCs and AMD's Sanders announced his company's intention to go fabless. I don't see "voracious" demand for 3 GHZ processors. I see tremendous demand for a full function, wireless PC with a PDA form factor and innovative input and display that complements the hand held size and experience.
