MM, during some rare periods when the turnips forecasts were extremely accurate, I got many posts from people that wanted to send me money (what they call cash <g>). I have made it clear I cannot accept any compensation for good calls (nor responsibility for the many bad ones), but I suggested to those people that if they feel very generous, that generosity can be directed at my preferred charity (MMVHA, a Hebrew School in Lowell Mass). Then Kevin put together a neat little expose at funphone.com (he did another one on the "Floorless Convertibles" few years back, when I was fighting the "floorless bandits"), and got many requests for "Merchandise" bearing the Turnip's Symbol. He asked me if it will be OK to use what is "essentially" my "trade mark", and I suggested that he goes ahead, and if he is profitable and feels generous to remember my charity. Some people like going around with a hat or a tee shirt with the turnips's symbol, some don't. What solicitation is this? No more, than "Da Cheif" mentioning his web site from time to time, nor any other posters here on SI that converted to "for pay" site where their "disperse" their "wisdom". Instead of repeating to every query asking where I can get that or that, I simply transferred the whole header from SI to I-Hub. I have not heard yet one complaint.
