I'm curious -- when was the last time your state had a say about whether it was in the United States or not, or whether they would forward taxes to same? You are compelled all the time to do things that you no longer have the right to reject because it is "for your own good". The United States would more accurately called the Bound States because secession is no longer an option. The attempt at that precedent resulted in America's greatest conflict. Did "your" side win? I don't think so. You don't seem excessively concerned about that until the guy in the Whitehouse is on a different team. Or your employees can force a decent wage from you.
