Andy:

The Nasdaq traded at 240 times (bogus)earnings at the peak. And today, it trades at 60 times those same earnings! So, where are the bargains that everybody else is seeing?

I think on a price/sales metric, the top Nasdaq stocks still sell at 6 or 7 times sales. They have to come down to 1 or 2 times sales. Otherwise I wouldn't even bother with them, because they won't do better than the S&P 500 from those levels.

As for LSI, I think it will be attractive at about 3 bucks or so. Still, a stock that pays no dividends has to be an exception in my portfolio rather than the rule.

I think your strategy of trading in and out is a good one but I generally stick to indexes like SPY, QQQ, IDU etc. when I do that. I am not very confident of catching the tops and bottoms of the rallies in individual stocks.
