Jumper and Bob: I teach History and Economics and at the risk of sounding alarmist, there are some similiarities to 1929 with this latest bull run. At that time too, people talked about a "new paradigm" (though I doubt they used the term) of valuation and people who knew little of the stock market began investing believing everyone would get rich. Today there are more safeguards in place, but the market is very susceptible to a correction. Unless we are in a new paradigm, the historical chart of the market is up and down and we are due for a down soon.
