Excellent, excellent post. (#4417) Given a free market society and the right to free speech the only way to deal with these loose cannons on CNBC is to simply

re-program your remotes to skip the CNBC channels or,

discontinue your fanancial media.

We do need some sort of voting website of the various media (medii ??) where parameters such as credibility, accuracy of data, integrity, etc. are all voted on by the surfers. Its too bad that people have to find out the hard way.

1. To give these shorters air time on popular "news channels",

2. during the most volatile days of the 96 market,

3. twice,

4. followed with negative media events in the fanancial papers,

5. coupled with huge selloffs by large shorting investors,

6. I HATE using that "C" word but it all stinks.

All this without regard to the truth and contrary to the facts.

Very appreciative of SI,
