There's about as much stability in the middle east as there is in the eye of a hurricane.

Saddam spent 8 years at war with Iran, and when he didn't get what he thought he deserved from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in the form of financial assistance, he attacked them (at least would have attacked SA once Kuwait was occupied and annexed).

The Middle East is hardly stable when the states in that region are paying $25 grand to families of suicide bombers who blow up innocent civilians and financing groups that cause TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS in economic damage to the United States..

And Saudi Arabia IS THE HEART of the problem, because that's WHERE this fundamentalist BS is eminating from. They control the holy sites of Islam and have an incredible say in shaping the religions future course.
