Covert actions are one thing. Blatant acts of an offensive war, undeclared and kept secret from the US Congress and American public are another.

Any President who chooses such a route is in violation of US law and international law and it would make him as much an enemy of the state, and of democracy itself as any tinpot Middle East dictator. It doesn't matter if he's Dem or GOP, lefty, righty or dead-center; that's completely irrelevant.

I doubt debka on this one. But if it's correct, there's only one proper response: "Zeig Heil mein Fuehrer!"

Any other response would certainly get one thrown into the dungeon to be raped and murdered if this is our New World Odor.
