Everyone thinks the earth's core is super heavy metals from the pressure of the superabundant overburden. But in fact at the earth;s core there is zero gravity. That's not the reason why people believe the earths' core has Heavy metals. It's because the differentiation due to density differences causes the metals to sink to the core & silicates rise while the outer surface of the earth was cooling. Nothing to due with Gravity, everything to due with Pressure.
