This is definitely one of the areas the government needs to focus on in order to prevent dangerous people(terrorists & criminals) from entering the U.S.

This quote from one of your newspaper articles demonstrates the problem:

" With bipartisan muscle, a House committee approved
an amendment to immigration law that would allow non-citizens convicted of
certain crimes to appeal their automatic deportation proceedings and for those
already deported to appeal for their return."

That's just what the country needs, isn't it......more convicted criminals within it's borders? What are those House members thinking?? Someone should start a website listing the names of every congressperson who voted for that stupid amendment. The INS admits it can't handle its present cases & Congress votes to add more to their workload.
