AMAT's backlog includes 12-month of service revenues which was not the case in 1998. I am not sure this is the case. If it is, could you please provide a reference? I have been listening to AMAT's CC's since '98 and I do not remember any changes made to the components of the Backlog. If they made this change, I would assume that they highlighted it in at least one CC, but more likely several. As such, I do not recall any mention of it in any CC. In short, I do not believe any aspect of Backlog has changed with respect to its components since the '98 downturn(ie everything included in this cycle was included in that cycle) BK
