Which would have been fine had he then shared some of it with us.

I think that eliminating the rancor and critical influence from the thread was the right decision.

This is a topic that for a variety of reasons people often feel that they know less than they should, and are uncomfortable asking questions or expressing understandings that they may not be completely sure of.

Priests of all ages have emphasized that regular people could not hope to understand and that they should rely on the priests. AG and his cohorts are the priests of our time. But now, as then, the only thing that such intimidation did was protect the power of the priests.
