What i find amazing is how easily Bush supporters overlook the fact that our new sheriff in town was the old sheriff in Texas. He was close politically and personally with Ken Lay while governor, gave Lay great access to the White House transition, let him help pick the head of the FERC, and Bush appointed many Enron execs to his administration. So it would seem that either Bush was in on it with Lay or possibly just oblivious, inattentive and easily duped. None of these are what you'd call good qualities in a sheriff. Steve
