Jay re China and Islam China has been attempting to blunt the the growth of Islamic movements that advocate separatism or autonomy for years. It would not be in China's interest to do anything that would create turmoil on their own borders. Most of the weapons being found in the Taliban caves are made in the USA. I would agree that much of the nonsense various nations are being accused of is part of a hysterical effort to maintain the hope of selling an invasion of Iraq to the American public.
