You are missing the point ..i am not counting on HBC being profitable anytime soon ..the stock is undervalued(book value $30) and underfollowed..HBC accounts for 7.5% of ALL canadian retail sales!..Lotsa bullies waiting in the playground to eat this puppies lunch...AS far as gold the easy money has been made...

You are defending the stock from a fundamental point of view. Nothing wrong with that, if you daytrade based on fundamentals. Most don't, I don't even think you do. So is HBC undervalued based on book.....maybe, but there are many that are in that position..does that make them a buy...no idea...does that make them a good DT....only if the momo is in your favour....downward draft says short....upward ...long....sideways....stay out. Saying all that....HBC is likely ready for a shortterm ralley to what I have no idea...maybe some short covering....but thats a guess

Golds......my .01c.....POG never broke $300 and when it did, it did so momentarily then recovered quickly.....bullish indicators IMHO. I believe the GIMP is failing (NG THEORY) and as a result will be forced to examine Japan's failure to restimulate their economy. In pursuit of not becomming another Japan, the Greensperm" will have to be aggressive on decreasing interest rates over the next 3 months. That will put immense downpressure on the US dollar. The trade deficit will decrease because of the "cheapness of US goods" abroad which will help him attempt to turn things around. All the while POG which is priced in US dollars will become cheaper and cheaper to outside currencies. This will drive POG to $385 by early 2003.

Any chinks in the emperors clothing (GIMP) will see POG rise exponentially during NG's forecasted demise of the free markets as we know it.

As much as I give credit to NG for his longterm accuracy, the person with the greatest insight to short term fluctuations as well as longerterm insights is Vitalsigns. He has been on the money with every short/med/long forecast since early this year. I'm actually wondering where the hell "PLuto" is and what he's doing to my portfolio...LOL

This isn't a "paid" announcement. I have nothing to do with, nor do I receive any "promotional credit" from him whatsoever.

He is at astroecon.com
