I have very close friends. They are just different than your friends. If you had any emotional distance you would realize that. But you don't, so you don't. I'm sure JLA and you have much in common. I totally believe you about JLA and you understanding each other. Can't say I envy either one of you, but I'm happy you have each other. I'm just going to add that your urge to personalize everything is pretty indicative of the quality of your thinking, and probably of the quality of your affection, as well.
