Tim, but they didn't.........Beverly Hills was far more important in terms of LA's image than the Vermont/Wilshire corridor.

I didn't say that they did. I just defended my idea of saving more valuable property first if no one's life is in serious danger. I did say the idea didn't apply well to this situation as people's lives where in danger. I was defending my idea which you attacked, I was not defending the decisions or performance of the LA cops during the riot.
