Well I went out and bought XP over the weekend from BBY. Tried installing it. You gotta love MSN. If anyone is going to get this economy moving again, it's them.

I got 5 pages of notes on all the software and hardware that's incompatible with XP. This includes my printers, scanner, keyboard, DSL modem, USB ports, COM ports, CD burner software, DVD controller, sound and video cards and a whole bunch of other stuff.

The directions were that I had to contact all the manufactures of the hardware and software and get the upgrades from them. Basically, that means start all over again. Buy a new computer and buy all new software to be compatible with XP.
