Carl I never ever accused you of treason. Nor will I. That we have sharp disagreements should in no wise be construed by anyone anywhere of such an accusation. Why you addressed that remark to me I simply can't fathom. I have diligently sought to keep my remarks on topic and not personal. I will do so in the future. I have even tried to keep my penchant for "colorful metaphors" to a minimum (not entirely successfully, I grant). Let me put this in language that is unequivocal. I do not regard anyone with an anti-war position to be treasonous. That people hold such opinions freely and without fear is one of the glories of our Republic.
