wondering if MidEast tensions, oil spikes, will interrupt the deflation trend, and even further lead to divergence of commodities from goods & services

oil stocks are moving up now
it could be very temporary, maybe not
supplies are certainly running over the top in port silos
but speculation coupled with disrupted supply lines could result in higher oil prices
for how long? who knows?

the CRB and S&P are clearly diverging
oil is in danger of working below 25/bbl, a critical line

if the CRB commodity uptrend is to maintain, then two things will have to be clearly established

1. oil stays above 25/bbl, and goes higher even
2. dollar declines, pulling gold up

these two represent the commercial and financial side of the CRB
with drought causing some crop damage in the MidWest, grains are pushing up in price
the 4th component group is coffee, sugar
