No one wants it "in their backyard" because the left has done one of their mass brain washings on the public. There's probably not a better place on the globe for this waste than Yucca. Our focus in Nevada should switch to getting ownership of the buried waste. Sometime over the next 50 or so years the technology to turn it into useful energy will make the 80,000 tons very valuable. "Saudi Nevada" by 2055...
