Scott: yeah I own a few shares. its an IPR play, license fees, royalty stream, few players with GTL patents in an industry (energy) that is bigger than any other. I'm patiently waiting for GTL to develop. No new infrastructure is required. It's simply an upgrade of current fuel. Its also part of my own personal investing theme, "empowerment". In the case of GTL, I can envision each state, city, municipality with a GTL plant that can sustain their fuel, lubricant and wax needs. Rentechs version of GTL strips out the huge cost of distribution & transportation and security in the case of Opec, because their process can take any carbonaceous feedstock (where the other GTL players require pure sweet natural gas). So land fills, pig farms, refinery bottoms, industrial tail-gas etc as well as sour natural gas can supply a RTK GTL plant.
