the seahawks will need to run the ball this year, or they're toast... holmgren is going to have to win in oakland on sep 8, or they're going to be in trouble.. our defensive line was pathetic in pass pressure, and the colts pressured the seahawks' qbs all night long... a couple of ironies were that hasselbeck threw an int on his 2nd pass, and all the while huard was on the other side of the ball... all holmgren has to do is win... but as it stands... i simply don't know.... i do know that i wish had brought in the tuna... but perhaps the apparent curse would withstand any coaching change.... as it is, holmgren is headed toward being no better than erickson after 4 seasons... and erickson's team was a lot more exciting to watch... still... if holmgren can simply win, there won't be any problem... he's got wideouts... that's for sure... he's got running backs and tight ends, but i don't know about qbs without dilfer, and the o-line is in a shambles right now... and again the d-line looks weak... there hasn't been a superlative d-line since knox...
