Thomas Weisel on Tech : Despite lack of near-term growth drivers to spur significant upturn in demand, firm believes cycle has bottomed and long, slow recovery has begun. Firm's top picks remain Amphenol (APH 39.50 -0.19), Vishay (VSH 15.15 -0.33), CDW (CDWC 44.74 -1.12), Tech Data (TECD 33.00 -1.12). At 15% down YTD and stock on track for strong growth, APH's valuation remains attractive; VSH is likewise appealing at current levels (12% down YTD). CDWC continues to outgrow overall tech market; trading below five-year historic valuation, looks attractive, especially considering co's strong management team and balance sheet; TECD is well positioned for upturn due to strong fundamentals and its position as best run computer distributor.
